I am a humanitarian relief worker in Afghanistan. A keen photographer, trained as an architect, highly accident prone, and two-time malaria survivor, I've had my office broken into by monkeys, self-treated tonsillitis by gargling vodka and lost countless phones – the last one down an open sewer in India. While my greatest fear is flying, I've travelled to over 30 countries and called 9 of them ‘home’ at one time or another.
