São Paulo started as a small village during the colonization era of the country, and it grew as it got richer and richer during the coffee era, when coffee became the main product in Brazilian economy, and the country became the n1 producer and exporter worldwide, back in the 19th century. Today, the city is the main economic center of the country, and is home to a large variety of activities, such as bars, restaurants, museums and parks.
