Where to stay in Sydney for any Budget

If you are after some fun in the sun, Sydney is the destination for you. Beautiful beaches, amazing coastal walks and of course the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House await you. Finding a place to stay in this city can be a daunting task though. Public transport can be a bit difficult to some of the suburbs around the city which makes things tricky. With so many great spots to choose from, here's our guide to the best areas to stay in and what you can expect from them.

Sydney CBD

If you want to be close to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, then staying in the Central Business District can be a good option. There are some really great hotels to choose from and quite a few budget hotels and hostels as well.

Manly

Manly has long been a favoured seaside resort for Australians and international visitors alike. It's a reasonable distance from the city centre; a trip that is best completed by ferry ride. Many visitors to Sydney take the ferry ride for a day trip to Manly. But you could just as easily flip that and stay in Manly and take ferry rides back to the city. Coming home to beautiful Manly beach after a big day of sightseeing would be a fantastic way to spend your holiday.

Bondi

Sydney's most famous beach suburb Bondi will not disappoint you. Aside from the obvious attraction, the beach, you will also find a thriving nightlife in this part of town. Or if you are up for it, take the coastal walk down towards Coogee. Spectacular views of the ocean and seaside pools await you.
