I had no idea my flight gate changed until it was too late—
What tips are you thinking about. If you missed your flight there is not much to do.
If you are still at the airport go to the counter and speak with the staff.
Sounds like a spam post that forgot to include the spam!

If checking in for a flight, ask the agent checking you in which gate you go to. 
If arriving on a flight, and will continue on, I simply check the boards for my departing flight.
I have had gate changes but with proper notice - no major problem!
