At what point do my blogs appear in Search engine sites when a tag is triggered. I have two different accounts in travellerspoint; one for historic travel and the other for Wildlife travel. The former appears very readily with 53 blogs( member for 18 years) while the wildlife one is two weeks old with a couple of entries.
Does the number of hits make a difference?
Appearing in Google and other search sites
Your "Photographing Wildlife" blog attached to your Iyer account currently instructs search engines not to index it. This is - most probably, I suspect - a result of the blog setting "Entries are listed on Travellerspoint" being set to "no" (if you don't want people on travellerspoint to know about the blog, we assume the same goes for the wider world).
If you toggle that setting to "yes", search engines should start to index the blog. After that it depends on all the usual factors for how valuable they deem your content; how unique, how many outside sites link to it, and so on. Google in particular no longer even attempts to fully index niche resources, so there's no guarantee that your blog will actually show up.
(Btw, you can run multiple fully independent blogs from the same account; no need to create a separate account just for a new blog.)
Thank you very much. Got it!
