Over the years, we’ve enjoyed a variety of walking holidays, and I’ve been compiling our trip details dating back to the ’90s. It would be interesting and insightful to incorporate the distance walked into the statistics. Could you explore the possibility of adding that information? Thank you!
They're actually there - but unfortunately not well labeled. At the left of your stats there are three colored bars, for "Foot" (1,148 km / 713 miles), "Bus" (3,205 km / 1,992 miles) and "Train" (5,102 km / 3,171 miles). But your other distances are so large in comparison, that they make these three disappear.
I seem to vaguely recall there once upon a time being some kind of hover/javascript effect to make these show; but if that ever was there, it unfortunately disappeared at some point. Still, should be easy enough for Peter to make something like that work again; and you're not the first to make this request, so there's definite demand...
@Peter: if you work on this, you currently have some CSS errors as well, setting z-index=3 e.a. rather than z-index: 3;

Out of curiosity: Does that mean that when you hover those thin bars on the left, it shows the value for you? If so, I'm glad I was able to point you to it. 
(*investigates* ...I can indeed in the source see that there's JavaScript for it. Ah - but I block the google script, and so I get "Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined" before those hover effects can ever bind for me.)
Yes that is correct, when you hover over the various colours of bars you get the value.
Brown for walking distance, green for train etc. It works well.
