Missing Posts

For some reason now, I am occasionally writing posts and they just disappear. I wrote on the Where Am I? thread for someone else to take it, and it disappeared. Then I wrote something about whether to go to Newport or Cape Cod or Lake Placid, and it disappeared also. Am I not submitting the posts? Or is my internet terribly glitchy"

I also have a problem with not being able to see some of my blogs unless I click to edit them. And I am almost always logged out and have to re-log in. And when I log in and go to edit a blog, I am logged out again. I log on, try to edit, and am logged off.

The being logged out all the time thing was a big problem in the last month, but that should've been fixed as of 10 days ago. Are you clicking the "remember me" checkbox when logging in, and still experiencing that? If so, which browser are you using?

Disappearing posts might be caused by having been logged out while writing the post, since then it wouldn't accept the submission - but is very worrisome. I've seen one other report of this, in the https://www.travellerspoint.com/forum.cfm?thread=127804Where has my thread gone??[/thread] thread (in which the being logged out problem was discussed a lot).

Do you consciously remember seeing the post being successful, only for it to be gone a short time later? Could you have accidentally clicked the "Preview" button rather than the "Submit" button?

Can you give a clear example of what you mean about not being able to see one of your blogs? Assuming you're talking about the individual blog posts: Do they have the green "published" status in your overview, but don't show up for visitors when you view the full blog e.g. https://grgrandmarhinecruise.travellerspoint.com/ ? Or what is the URL where you'd expect to see them, but don't?

I log on from different browsers at different times so I don't really care about having to log on each time-it just takes another click. The posts that disappeared were not posts that had any photos so I wouldn't have Previewed them.

As for the individual blog posts - yes they have been published, but when I click on the individual posts to View it, the site just 'hangs' and sometimes times out. I figured out that I could Edit and see the Preview even if I couldn't View. And I could Publish it. And even get to the next blog sometimes from the edit screen.

It isn't every blog or every time.

When previewing a post that I wrote, sometimes I have been interrupted by someone at the door or a phone call. Then I simply forget to submit the post.

Later I check on my submission and find it is missing.

My fault.

That's what I thought with the first one and maybe with the second one too. But I don't understand being logged out when I try to edit a blog.

Yeah, for a while, it seemed like I had to keep logging in again and again. Right now things seem to be back to normal.
