Travel Forums North America visiting mexico

Hello, I am new here and am interested in discussing a relatively new issue. I live in Canada, so travelling in an RV over the winter is challenging. I do want to use my RV in the winter. I have travelled in the USA, but now, this is a challenge. The reception I got there since January has been less than encouraging, so I am looking for alternatives, such as getting to Mexico by train. Has anyone done this, know of any issues doing it, or have any information on this topic? I understand that a TIP and Mexican insurance are required. Are there other people who may be interested in doing this and want information?
This trip may require a longer travel time frame (three months?) and a single site to load and unload all those interested in going. I don't have all the details worked out, nor do I know all the potential pitfalls, but if there is sufficient interest, I would be willing to help facilitate such an endeavor. Please let me know asap. Thanks

Sorry, but maybe I don't understand you right.
Why would you go by train to Mexico and do you want to bring your RV by train to Mexico? I don't see the reason for this. You'd have to do the same procedures (or even more) than if you drive the RV down.

I am sorry we give you not such a good reception here in the USA.

Railroads in the us are not very good or reliable. There are trains which take cars - I know of one from D.C. to Florida, but I don't know about shipping an RV that way. You might think about going by ship because I am sure various kinds of things go by freighter. Or maybe it could be loaded on a truck and shipped to Mexico that way.
